What's Available in the Common Rooms
Isaac Colbert Multi-Purpose Room
This is the largest common room and is located on the ground floor. The Colbert Room is often used for dinners and other large dorm events, as well as individual or group study. A grand piano and tables for pool, ping-pong, foosball, poker, and other games are also located here. The Colbert Room may be reserved for private use by residents. Please adhere to all Warehouse policies.
Movie/TV Room
A smaller room next to the Colbert Room, the TV room has a large screen TV with DVD player , Direct TV, and TiVo. A Wii system is available at the front desk to be used with the large screen TV. The TV room may be reserved. Please adhere to all Warehouse policies.
Media/Study Room
The media room is located on the ground floor, and is available for both individual and group study. Items such as the large whiteboard, flat panel monitors, and computer system make this an ideal place to work on large group projects. Please note that studying takes precedence over other activities in the room. The media room may be reserved. Please adhere to all Warehouse policies.
Kitchen and Freezer
The large, catering-style kitchen is available to residents by reservation. The freezer near the front desk is for common use. Please adhere to all Warehouse policies.
Atrium
The atrium is a large open area on the first floor, providing a quiet, airy space for reading and studying.
Roof Deck
The roof deck (5th floor) is a great place to lounge and enjoy a great view. Electric grills are available to residents on a first-come, first served basis. The roof deck is closed during the winter months.
Gym
The gym is located on the ground floor across from the laundry room, and features physical fitness equipment such as a fitness bike, free weights, an elliptical trainer, and a treadmill. Please respect others' right to use the equipment.
Laundry
Washing machines and driers are available to residents on a first-come, first-served basis. You can pay with quarters or you can open a TechCash account and have money charged to your ID card. (You can open a TechCash account or put money on your card at the MIT Card Office, or online.) You can also go to the new MIT website that shows you which Warehouse machines are in use and which are available!
1st Floor Library
This lounge has a collection of books that were donated to the Warehouse by the housemasters and previous residents and are available to current residents free of charge. The library also has a table and chairs available for studying in small groups.
2nd and 3rd Floor Lounges
These have cable TV and DVD players. The 3rd floor lounge also has Direct TV and TiVo. Instructions for using the equipment 


are posted on the walls.
